Our Twin over Futon Pine Log Bunk Beds come complete with headboard, footboard, log safety rails, metal side rails, and the log ladder. Log side rails are available as an option which will cover the metal side rails and will give the bunk bed the look of being totally made from logs while still giving the safety and support of the metal frame. Bunkie boards and mattress are not included, but the futon mattress is included. A bunkie board or other means of mattress support is required for this bunk bed. The White Pine logs are a creamy white color. The White Pine logs have a diameter of 3? making a log bed with a contemporary rustic look. Pine is very strong and durable and will match any of our bedroom furniture lines of dressers, armoires, nightstands, etc. The logs in our beds are German-Peeled which adds a rustic look to the beds.
